remember the poetry we used for inspiration? How about taking a virtual stroll along the sea to write a text – be it prose or prosody or even a dialectic text: have a go…

Rain, rain, rain – pouring, splashing, myriads of tiny drops throwing themselves restlessly on the ground, flinging themselves on already dripping leaves, rolling over the tip and cuddling in the long grass of the meadow behind the house –

how about spinning this thread further? 😉

a stroll along the river

Virtual stroll along the river

I walk 100m until the water when I go out of the house. In the sun the surface of the river glitters and a few clouds are reflected. I throw some stones in the water and a few ducks become aware of me. But because I have nothing interesting for them, they continue to swim. I start my way down the river. Now I can’t always see the river because of houses which are built by the shore, but he’s next to me soon. I just keep walking along the river. Now I’ve past three bridges and I can already see the next one. Here the shore is surrounded by trees. It’s pleasantly cool and I hear some birds chirping. I sit on a bench directly on the shore and enjoy the pleasant warmth of the sun and the light wind. Sometimes swans swim by, they are very graceful. Then I go on. The gravel crunches under my feet and the wind blows in my face. Now the bridge comes, but I don’t cross it. I go on and again I see swans, this time there are even young ones. They look cute with their fluffy grey plumage. In front of me is now a crossroads. I take the path that continues along the river. On the shore I see a fallen tree which hangs deep in the water. I just keep going and enjoy the nice weather. It’s so peaceful here. I’m going over the bridge which is coming. In the middle I stop and look over the water. There is only a slight flow and it has just little waves. The water is blue-green and relatively clear. At the end of the bridge I look down again and can see a crab and small fish near the stones. Now I’m on my way back, but on the other side of the river. Also on this side the path is directly along the river. Mostly it doesn’t have many trees, but sometimes it’s almost like in the forest. I come back to a bridge, but I keep going. Now it has more and more houses and the path is again made of asphalt. The next bridge: I walk under it and a few meters further I don’t see the river until the next bridge. But I also pass this one. Then I cross the first bridge, which I passed at the beginning. The river is now covered again, and I can only see it from a distance before I turn and go home.
